Abusive conversation with JC Penny Photography administrator in Vernon Hills IL location

Providing feedback:

Got session with your company as a gift from Groupon from family member. Came to Vernon Hills Hawthorn mall location JCPenny and in person set up session explaining I would be coming with baby and pet.

All was good.

On April 6 around 4pm I receive call from woman administrator (didn't say her name) asking to confirm appointment for April 7 at 4pm (this is my session time). I confirmed and asked to suggest any recommendations for coming with pet, how long time it would be, etc. During conversation with administrator it appeared that original setup (when I came to store) wasn't same as she was saying. I tried explaining it was different agreement when I came to the store, but she didn't want to listen and asked me to listen to rules without interruption.

I did. She was talking long repeating same rules, and I heard that on weekend there is no much time for customers because there is many people, etc, it made me more concerned. When she stopped talking, I asked if she stopped talking so I can ask my questions. When she heard me saying that, she interrupted me immediately, said I was rude to her, and hang up the phone.

That was the whole conversation I had. Not sure if she was under drugs or how else I can explain.

Here is the feedback when having such people hired:

* is my session still there or has she cancelled that being in anger?

* Why is she asking to listen, and when I want to ask questions, not able to listen me back?

* Why there is a need to hang up and can't end up conversation in a normal way?

* Why is she blaming me throughout the whole conversation? I didn't understand the rules right, I didn't listen to her, I did interrupt her, I was rude, I deserve hanging up the phone, This is abusive behaviour.

I think woking with people requires patience to begin with, and here she was rude, but calling me rude. Abusers do that too.

I tried reaching someone else who worked in the studio to figure out what to do with the session on April 7.

I don't want to prepare the baby and pet, drive there, and she will say it is not going to happen because of some other blame she will figure or maybe she cancelled. The manager was unavailable.

Graduation photo

Today our daughter had her PK graduation photo taken. She showed up home with the most sad picture she had ever taken we were hearthbroken How can you send a child home with such a bad picture taken and expect people to pay for it. To me not only ruined her grad pic but was a slap in the face totally disrespectful shame and yall!

I placed an order for school pictures for my son in November. Never arrived by December, over a month later, finally got someone on the phone, she supposedly send out another order on December 21st..

its now January 29th and I still havent received ANYTHING. What a joke.

*update: spoke to representative he sent the order out again and stated he will follow up in about a month to make sure I received the order..

Damaged pictures

Had my family pictures professionally done at JCpenny. Lifetouch printed out my photos and sent them to me.

Had the scanner bars at the bottom of the photo and they werent even processed right.

Uneven photos for the amount I paid. Im seriously pissed!!

Very unsatisfied customer

I ordered my sons school pictures in April of last year, still haven't received them after numerous times of speaking to lifetouch and them supposably fixing there mess up and sending my sons pictures! Today I was told they forgot to put the order in last time we spoke and now it's to late because they took 9 months to figure it out!

And now they have stopped speaking to me! So I have to contact them once again to figure out what's going on!

My daughter took school photos in the fall and spring, and it seems that they did not care about what the child looks like. How can I request a reprint if the pictures are disappointing?

If you want a successful business, show some concern about how the client would feel when they see the pictures that you took. It's not all about money!

Horrible school photos

The green screen backgrounds and poses for elementary aged students are horrible.

The kids look sloppy. Many of the girls posed oversexualized, chest thrust out, hand on hip knee bent like a college cheerleader.

The product looks cheesy and cheap. Elementary school kids don't need senior picture full body poses etc.

Too much tech applied to something that is supposed to be sweet and realistic moment. Even if awkward, this obsession to perfect flaws with tech touch ups or adds is grossly unethical.

Take a clean photo of the child. Don't make them look *** with touchups or blemish removers etc.

Unnecessarily overcomplicating something that 1000s of photographers before you got right.

Simple, clean, consistent good quality beats *** "new approach". Seems another year I will not buy a photo. Could do better on my own & Im far from pro.

The nostalgia of school photos being teched out of existence by the photo companies themselves. Talk about self saboteurs.

They want a photo to share with public? I can't. They are all little kids.

1 is a 9 year old, well developed for her age, the pose is not appropriate for her build or age.

1 the background jumps out FAKE and you barely notice the child because the backgrounds are so obnoxiously greedy.

1 is a 6 year old whose pose made her hands the focus, hands looked larger than reality.

All of the backgrounds were obnoxiously greedy, stood out way too much.

Photographer was terrible. Barely took any photos wasn't ready for us at 11am, and didn't do a good job getting a variety of poses, also missed my daughter laughing but then got one later - only for it to be out of focus

Have not recieved pictures

Took 8th grade commencement pictures in February, ordered online and paid. Chatted with a rep and was advised they were reordered and being shipped this was around May.

Checked website it says it was shipped still don't have pictures. Chatted 5/13 advised they were shipped and to allow a week.

There's no urgency to get me the product I pd for 3 months later. I was told it will take 3-4 weeks!

Horrible customer service

I recently encountered an issue with my daughter's spring pictures taken by Lifetouch. After multiple attempts to contact customer service, I finally reached a representative who informed me that I would receive a refund of $26.74 for a digital download, allowing me to reorder the correct picture.

However, upon receiving the refund, I discovered that only $12.43 had been credited to my account. I have since been unable to reach a live representative to resolve this discrepancy.

Didnt get my pictures i paid for

well I paid for my daughter's pictures. didn't get my all of my order.

trying to reach them seems impossible! I did the chat that's far as I've got. I didn't get an order confirmation so no clue what happened there. but they did take the money off card.

This was their response. Not their issue. despite ordering off their website.

and it said lifetouch as to how it came off my card. Never ordering from them ever again!
